Sweden’s healthcare company H100 Group bought bitcoin

Sweden – May 23, 2025 – Sweden’s largest healthcare company H100 Group AB has bought 4.39 Bitcoins (BTC) from its company’s money (corporate treasury). This has made it the first Swedish company to be listed on the stock market and to include bitcoin in its financial plan.

The company said that it has taken this step in view of the future digital economy. At present, the price of 4.39 bitcoins is around $260,000 (about Rs 2.1 crore). The company said that this will help it protect itself against inflation and falling currency value.

The company’s CEO said:

“This is a bold and forward-thinking step for us. Bitcoin is a special asset that matches our thinking and strategy. We are proud that we are the first government company in Sweden to adopt bitcoin.”

Many big companies of the world like Tesla and MicroStrategy have already bought bitcoin. Now this move of H100 Group is being considered a new beginning for Sweden, because the companies there were a little cautious in adopting crypto till now.

Experts believe that now even more Swedish companies can pay attention to bitcoin and other digital assets. Stockholm financial expert Eric Lundberg said:

“What H100 Group has done can inspire other companies in the Nordic countries as well.”

This news has also become a topic of discussion on social media. People are praising the company and saying that it can be a “game-changer” for Sweden.

While 4.39 Bitcoin may not be a large amount, it shows that H100 Group is open to adopting new technologies. The company has not said anything about plans to buy more Bitcoins, but it will continue to keep an eye on the crypto market.

This move shows that the traditional financial world is slowly moving towards digital currency. H100 Group has made history by being the first to do so.
